A HEREFORD dental surgery has gone up for sale, with hopes that a new local provider can be found to take it on.
Hereford's Bupa Dental Care, based in Pool Farm Cottages, near Asda in Belmont Road, has been put on the market according to a message to patients.
In a message published on the provider's website, Bupa said it had taken "the difficult decision to find an alternative owner for this practice".

"We are optimistic that a local provider can be found to continue access to dental services," the message said.
Bupa has sought to reassure patients that the practice remains open in the meantime, and said they would write to patients once they have news.
The Hereford Bupa dental surgery is just one of three run by the company in Herefordshire.
The provider's other practices in the county, which offer both private and NHS services are in Leominster and Ross-on-Wye.
Bupa's website said that neither Hereford nor Leominster surgeries are accepting new patients, but that the Ross surgery is currently accepting new private patients and dentist referrals.
